Next year is Lakeview’s 60^th anniversary and in recognition of this special milestone, we are creating a commemorative wall calendar featuring Lakeview through the decades. Proceeds will go toward supporting the LCA’s numerous activities.  You are invited to help bring this unique project to life by either submitting calendar material or helping with judging and/or design.  

What We Are Looking For: 

• Photos – in the following categories and ideally across different decades:

• Nature
• People
• Places
• Activities
• Other (surprise us!)

Note: any photos featuring recognizable faces of people will require a media release (to be filled out for selected photos only). 

• Fun Facts/Anecdotes – any interesting Lakeview trivia bits or short anecdotes – especially historical ones.

It’s time to dig out your favourite memorabilia boxes and unearth those hidden treasures!

How to Submit: 

Please send your digital photos or fun facts/anecdotes to marie@lakeviewyyc.ca. Paper photos may be dropped off at the LCA office where they will be scanned and returned to the owner.

Deadline:

Photos and fun facts must be received before September 30^th. 

Judging and Assembling: 

We will need people to help with photo selection (early October) and calendar design (mid-October). If interested, email marie@lakeviewyyc.ca with a brief expression of why you would like to be considered for one or both of these roles.

Calendar Availability:

The calendar will be released for sale in mid-November, just in time for holiday gifting.
