Available shifts are as follows:
Dates for PAINTING the flowers:
· April 16: 10-3 PM (setup and teardown is between 9-10 and 3-4 PM)
· April 17: 10-3 PM (setup and teardown is between 9-10 and 3-4 PM)
· April 18: 9-2 PM (this is a ‘pack up’ day – likely no painting, this is a day of helping to pack up the painted products)
We will paint at the LCA Field House (behind the main hall). We will provide the rollers, paint and drop cloths, but please ensure you are wearing clothing that could get paint on it and gloves if you would like them.

Lakeview Community Association – Hall and Rink Closures
The LakeviewYYC Community Association (LCA) takes seriously the safety of our neighbourhood and is focused on reducing the spread of Covid-19. The LCA is aligning with the Alberta Government mandated public health measures for the Community Hall and Field House. The LCA is taking further, local steps, to reduce the risk of exposure at the LCA skating rinks.
Effective immediately, the LCA is taking the following measures:
The LCA Hall and Field House will be closed for new bookings until further notice. Existing bookings will be cancelled with refunds or re-scheduled at a future time.
The Leisure Rink and Hockey rink both will be closed until further notice. Snow removal will continue to take place to provide options for good ice at future dates. No new flooding will be undertaken.
The LCA Skate shack will be closed indefinitely.
The LCA will re-evaluate these measures when there are changes in the guidance from the AHS.
The mayor the City of Calgary asked for leadership rather than seek exceptions. These closures are the right thing to do at this time.
