2025 Beginner Tennis Lessons – Registration Opening Soon!

Lakeview Community Association is offering Beginner Group Tennis Lessons coached by the Alberta Tennis Association for Beginners Only.

Tennis Lessons will run from July 6th to September 10th for the following age categories:

  • Kids (age 4-7)
  • Kids (age 8-12)
  • Youth (age 13-17)
  • Adult (age 18+)

Lessons will run for ten weeks and will cost $156.25 plus GST & registration fees for kids and $187.50 plus GST and registration fees for youth and adult beginners. There is a mandatory one-time $30 Lakeview Community Association family membership for the 2025/2026 year.  If you have already purchased your membership, please contact the main office at 403-242-8660 or info@lakeviewYYC.ca for a refund.

Lessons will run on Sundays for Kids for one hour each.  Youth and Adult lessons will run on Wednesday evenings for one and a half hour each.  Please see below schedule of dates and times.

Kids (age 4-7) – Sundays July 6, 13, 20, 27, August 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, September 7 from 1:00 – 2:00pm

Kids (age 8-12) – Sundays July 6, 13, 20, 27, August 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, September 7 from 2:00 – 3:00pm

 Adult 2 (age 18+) – Wednesdays July 9, 16, 23, 30, August 6, 13, 20, 27, September 3, 10 from 6:00 – 7:30pm

Adult (age 18+) – Wednesdays July 9, 16, 23, 30, August 6, 13, 20, 27, September 3, 10 from 7:30 – 9:00pm

This is an introductory offer and will be used as a fundraiser to upgrade our tennis courts. All funds received from tennis registrations will go directly to upgrading our courts.

Tennis Lessons will be taught at the Lakeview Community Association Tennis Courts located at the corner of Lancaster Way and 63rd Avenue SW.

Spring is around the corner and the Lakeview Community Association is launching into our favourite season with a spring plant fundraiser.  Purchase high-quality hanging baskets, planters, flowers, herbs, and more, just in time for Mother’s Day!

Our first annual Easter Eggstravaganza event is officially SOLD OUT. Sorry, we are no longer accepting registrations for this event.

Soccer 2025

Kid’s Toy, Clothing and Sport Equipment Swap

Please support the Lakeview Preschool with their upcoming Kids Clothing, Toy & Sporting Equipment Swap fundraiser.

When: Saturday September 28th from 10:00am – 2:00pm

Where: Lakeview Community Association’s Main Hall (6110 34 Street SW)

What: Shop pre-loved kids items (credit card only)

Street Sweeping now June 24/25

The city has changed our street sweeping dates from June 12 and 13 to June 24 (Lakeview west of Lakeview Dr) and 25 (rest of Lakeview including Lakeview Village) due to the water main break in Montgomery. Residents, please remove your vehicles from our streets on those dates.
