Mark your calendars for this Saturday, January 11th for LCA’s annual Moonlight Skate at the Lakeview Outdoor Rink from 6:00-8:00pm. The weather looks to be fantastic. There will be food trucks, hot chocolate, music, fire pit, snacks, and of course ice skating!

Ho, ho, ho, it’s time to get your tickets for Lakeview’s annual Holiday Wine Party.
This social evening (no formal presentations) is a great opportunity to catch up with friends and neighbours, taste some great wine, and enjoy some holiday nibbles.
We are excited to announce that this year, Neil D Speers will be treating us to live music throughout the evening. And, while you are enjoying wine, food, and music be sure to pop over to the photo booth for a chance to win tickets to the next wine tasting event!
Need to stock up on holiday wine? Order forms with event pricing will also be available so you can party and get ready for the holiday season all at the same time.
Registration begins on November 13th. GST and transaction fee will be added to the purchase price.
PLEASE NOTE: In accordance with LCA Liquor License, an active membership is required, non-member guests MUST be registered by an active LCA member.

The Lakeview Community Association is hosting a Red Truck Holiday Portrait Mini Session fundraising event! It will take place outside on Saturday November 23rd at Weaselhead Flats, 6615 37 Street SW, from 10am – 12pm.
Our friends at birdy photography co. are providing outdoor professional photography. They will have two holiday themed set ups to pick from – a vintage red truck or a hot cocoa stand (see attached photo). A portion of proceeds from each portrait mini session goes to the Lakeview Community Association.
There are three portrait packages available:
1) $60 for your photo session, 1 digital image, and an online gallery of 25+ images to pick from;
2) $150 for your photo session, 3 digital images, and an online gallery of 25+ images to pick from; or
3) $250 for your photo session and your full online gallery of 25+ images.
Additional images and prints are available for purchase in your online gallery.

Tennis Lessons will run from July 24th to September 15th for the following age categories:
Kids (age 4-7)
Kids (age 8-12)
Adult (age 18+)
Adult 2 (age 18+)
Lessons will run for eight weeks and will cost $100 plus GST for kids and $120 plus GST for youth and adult beginners. There is a mandatory one-time $30 Lakeview Community Association family membership for the 2024/2025 year. Lessons will run on Sundays for Kids for one hour each. Adult lessons will run on Wednesday evenings for one and a half hour each. Please see below schedule of dates and times.

This is an introductory offer and will be used as a fundraiser to upgrade our tennis courts. All funds received from tennis registrations will go directly to upgrading our courts.

There are 17 houses participating in this year’s Parade, so lots of treasures to be found.
Attached, please find the map of all participating houses. Hard copies will also be placed at the entrance to the Lakeview Community Association’s main hall parking lot on Saturday morning.
