It’s our Diamond Year! As we celebrate 60 years in 2026 and begin Phase I of the Lancaster Park Revitalization project, get ready for the biggest Lakeview Family Fun Day ever!
Enjoy exciting new attractions, lively entertainment, delicious food, and endless ways to have fun together!
Lakeview Family Fun Day is happening on May 23, 2026 from 11am to 3pm on the LCA Main Grounds.
This year, you can look forward to a variety of fun events/activities to mark our special celebration, such as:
New this year is our support to the Calgary Food Bank. We will be hosting a Food Drive from May 5 – 23rd. Feel free to drop off any food donations to the LCA Office or bring them with you on Fun Day. If you bring your food items to Fun Day, you will be given a ticket for a draw to win a door prize, announced that day, along with our 50/50 winner.

NO WALK-INS will be allowed.
Members and invited Guests only. Non-refundable
Please remember to bring 6 wine glasses
Grab your Friends and Neighbours, groups of 6 or more will be allowed to reserve a table.
IMPORTANT: Group reservations must be made and paid for by one LCA member. Non-members MUST be registered by an active LCA member.
Registration opens April 15th & closes May 8th!


We are looking for volunteers to help with painting the flowers for the Jennie Elliott fence art project.
Available shifts are as follows:
Dates for PAINTING the flowers:
· April 16: 10-3 PM (setup and teardown is between 9-10 and 3-4 PM)
· April 17: 10-3 PM (setup and teardown is between 9-10 and 3-4 PM)
· April 18: 9-2 PM (this is a ‘pack up’ day – likely no painting, this is a day of helping to pack up the painted products)
We will paint at the LCA Field House (behind the main hall). We will provide the rollers, paint and drop cloths, but please ensure you are wearing clothing that could get paint on it and gloves if you would like them.

Please join the LCA for our Easter Eggstravaganza event happening at the LCA Main Grounds (6110 34 St SW) on April 4th between 2:00 – 4:00pm.
Come for the Easter Egg hunt and stay for the fun! Don’t forget to bring your easter baskets for the hunt. Easter Egg hunt will run from 2pm until the eggs run out.
Butterfield Acres will be here with their large Farm Corral. There will be a wonderful array of their most huggable animals – goats, sheep, rabbits, piglets & chickens to name a few.
We are also looking for donations of plastic easter eggs for our hunt. If you have some that you no longer need, we would be happy to take them off your hands.

The Lakeview Community Association is hosting one last public engagement session for the Lancaster Park Revitalization Project on October 21st from 6:30 – 8:30pm in the Main Hall (6110 34 Street SW).
The updated concept of the tennis courts includes:
2 tennis courts
1 pickleball court
1 spec tennis court
We want to hear from you – whether you’re excited about the project or still have concerns, this is your chance to be heard.
Let’s come together to support a much-needed facelift for our aging park and help shape a space that serves the whole community.
