Glenmore Trail paving starting July 14

Upcoming Glenmore Trail S.W. Road Construction
We’re reaching out to provide a schedule update about the Glenmore Trail S.W. road construction between 14 Street S.W. to Crowchild Trail S.W.
Our contractor, Aecon Group Inc., is scheduled to begin nighttime asphalt milling and paving activities on July 14 and continue for the next few weeks. Milling and paving were originally expected to start in early August. We anticipate completing the project in fall 2025.
Please note road construction is weather-dependent, and the schedule is subject to change.
Construction schedule
During construction, crews will work Monday to Sunday, to ensure timely completion.
· Nighttime milling and paving will occur between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.
· Concrete repair and replacement work will take place during off-peak daytime hours (9 a.m. and 3 p.m.).
Anticipated impacts on traffic and area
As work progresses, we anticipate:
· Temporary daytime one-lane closures for concrete work
· Nighttime multi-lane closures for milling and paving work with advance signage
· Daytime on-lane closures for concrete work
· Construction dust, noise and vibrations
