“COVID-19 remains a serious health threat, in particular for older adults, people with underlying health conditions, and people with compromised immune systems.

It is important to note that this virus can lead to serious health outcomes; knowledge about the impacts of the virus continue to evolve.  For example, a condition called multi-system inflammatory syndrome in children, or MIS-C, has been reported in a number of jurisdictions, and may be linked with COVID-19.

The Chief Medical Officer of Health (CMOH) has issued specific Orders regarding the COVID-10 (CMOH Orders).  The CMOH Orders detail the restrictions and precautions necessary to prevent the spread of COVID-19, as well as the actions required to safely resume activities while still protecting Albertans.

On May 14, Alberta’s Relaunch Strategy was implemented.  To ensure the safety of Albertans and communities, the relaxing of restrictions on certain activities will follow a measured approach, in accordance with public health guidance from Alberta Health.”   ~ Alberta Health

The Lakeview Community Association (LCA) buildings and facilities are now currently opened with certain restrictions.  The LCA remains committed to keeping the community healthy and thriving and are cooperating with any and all guidelines set forth from our governing authorities to ensure our members, volunteers, patrons and staff are cared for.  For everyone’s safety the LCA has developed a COVID-19 Policy and Procedure in relation to the Alberta Governments Relaunch Strategy.  This document will outline the procedures in which LCA and anyone who enters our facilities are to follow.  As the COVID-19 pandemic is an evolving situation, the contents of this document are subject to change and will be updated as appropriate.
